Please join me on Friday, December 16th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Butcher, as I host a special tasting and book signing for chef and personal friend, Mitch Rosenthal. His newly released cookbook, Cooking My Way Back Home, features flavorful, hearty, Southern-inspired dishes that infuse down-home comfort food with urban sophistication and innovation.

Mitch will serve three tastes from his cookbook, and locally brewed beers will be poured. The beautiful, 272-page book will be available for purchase for $35. Personally signed cookbooks make wonderful holiday gifts for anyone on your list.

In Cooking My Way Back Home Mitch showcases the most popular dishes from his successful restaurants, delivering warmth, personality, and an infectious enthusiasm for the communal aspect of cooking and dining. Mitch is the co-owner and executive chef of three San Francisco restaurants, Town Hall, Salt House, and Anchor and Hope, plus Irving Street Kitchen in Portland, Oregon. Mitch was a chef at the Four Seasons in New York City, Wolfgang Puck's Postrio in San Francisco, and Granita in Malibu.
