This Week on Taste of Place
In this episode of “Taste of Place” Chef Donald Link takes an exclusive look into a local Seattle, Washington microbrewery. Hales Ales brewer Chris Sheehan shows Chef Link how craft beer is processed and brewed. Seventy-seven percent of US hops are grown in Washington State, and with 2000 microbreweries across the country beer has become a very local, sustainable product. Chef Link concludes that there is no reason not to enjoy a beer made in your own region. Following the brewery tour, you’ll enjoy Chef Link’s beer braised and sauerkraut hotdogs and homemade beer mustard from his kitchen.
