General Clinic Policies
Welcome to LifeNet Behavioral Health. To assist us in providing you with the best care possible, please read the following copy of our policies. If you have questions, please contact us.

Appointment Policy
Our office requires a 24 hour notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment, and to avoid automatic billing for payment of your session. Appointments for which you arrive late will still end at the appointed time. We do not overbook or double book, so the session is yours and is your responsibility for managing. As a courtesy, you may receive a reminder call for your appointment; however, the responsibility for keeping your appointment is ultimately yours.

Payment for Services
LifeNet Behavioral Health accepts most insurance plans, however you are responsible for copays or charges that are not covered by your insurance plan. If you have questions regarding billing or which insurance plans we accept please contact us. Payment is due in full at the time of services rendered. The credit card used to make an initial appointment will be kept confidentially on file to be automatically charged for the full session fee in the event of a late cancellation (less than 24 hrs), a no-show/missed appointment, record reproduction, or other balances that may incur. The card will be used for all family members who are seen at LifeNet Behavioral Health. There will be a $25 charge fee for checks returned for insufficient funds in checking account.

Prescription Refills
Prescription refills should be done at your office visit or during office hours. No after hours refills will be provided. It is the responsibility of the patient to monitor the amount of medication and arrange for refills through your pharmacy. Please call your pharmacy for all medication refills and have them fax the request to us at (985) 246-2601 for Mandeville patients and (225) 329-2601 for Baton Rouge patients. Please provide at least 48 hours notice for refills needed. Controlled substances (including Concerta, Vyvanse, Adderall, etc.) will be issued by your clinician on a month-to-month basis. Because these medications are highly regulated, they must be picked up, and cannot be called in. Also, in the event that a prescription for a controlled substance, or the medication itself, is lost it will not be re-written.
